This specific diff was sent to us by a chap called Nigel. We spent weeks redesigning a new set of bearings for this specific differential.

Genuine new part with 12 month warranty

After months in development we now have two completed M5 and M6 Bigger bearing upgraded differentials.

The original size / load rating of these nose bearings were designed and manufactured too inferior to take the thrust load required of them. As well as a lack of lubrication to the cone bearings, they become very problematic and start failing, and a modification is now implemented to allow more oil to the bearings. The modified bearings are setup in house and to GearLabs own specific tolerances.

Due to the current high demands of more fuel efficient, weight saving and more cost effective components, manufacturers are now creating inferior and less robust designs to their precursor. The protection of designs and production of all parts within the differential, becoming more valuable rather than the engineering, robustness and applications to which they are being built for.

The differential is now fitted and a complete success.
